The Path of the Lilies is an all encompassing story. Although there are a few grammatical errors, it does not detract from the plot. I find myself constantly wondering about the fate of the three children characters. I am pleased with the detail of the world as well as the descriptions of the energy masters, training, and levels that they strive for. The dialogue and character development is fluid and captivating. I plan to support this author in the future. The descriptive quality of the work is worthy of a screenplay. Many thanks to Sorahana for sharing the imagination possessed.

When I first came to this site, one of the first novels I read from this author was Flowers Bloom in the Battlefield which I still recommend to others. Now she has this story which is good with interesting characters and story that will keep me coming back. I like the FL and her journey of to protect path. As I'm just finishing volume 1, I cannot say much except that I'm sure that she will meet both friends and enemies of her past. How she deals with them in the future is something I look forward to reading. As for the ML, I have not determined who he is nor do I care as she at this point is just 8, there is no need for romance until she is around 16+. This book will remain in my library.

Updating my review now that the novel reached 100 chapters! If you want my personal opinion, I've been through a lot getting here. For one, I've threatened various characters. (Yes, that's the first thing that came to my mind to say). I've nearly cried on several occasions. I've cheered, I've sympathized and I've feared for Ye Jiao. And I am here to stay for more! She is such a mature child that sometimes I forget that she is barely 10 years old. From surviving bullies to taking 50 lashes of a rod to experiencing lost to resisting poison... the adventure never stops! And in each one, Ye Jiao rises above! Her journey is also much more touching for me than others. Usually, we hear and read about people once they've accomplished something worthwhile. We admire them for it. Then, we get the back story and find them much more inspiring. Most stories start this way as well because of this reality. In here, the opposite happened. The back story becomes the first one we hear about. This brings something that a flashback can't fully utilize. Attachment. By the end of the story, the sense of fulfillment will feel much more sweeter when looking back on everything Ye Jiao went through. I am still looking forward to that feeling. Hi Sora. Congratulations on starting a new novel. It is another Easter fantasy similar to but also different than FBOB. We your loyal fans will read this too. It looks promising. Its too early to say but I guess it has a lot of face slapping involved. But the character of the girl is similar to your other FL. Continue writing amazing stories. Good luck.

I hate how I think of more to say AFTER I submitted a review. *smh* Really, Cai. Really? *smh more* As a more in depth review, I'd like to point out how the writer depicts Ye Jiao's journey so well. Not only does she focus on her advancement as an Eon Energy Master but she also writes about her journey in companionship. The story itself embodies different elements in the MC's life and how it impacts her along the way. The balance among these elements are superb. The writing of them also impacts readers effectively. Whether a reader is a loner or an extrovert, he/she will find herself able to relate to Ye Jiao and the other characters. The cast is pact with personalities. No one is complacent or unimportant. They all contribute to the story beautifully—these includes the antagonists (although they seem easy to hate tbh) but if there's anything I learned in the writer's first novel, "Flowers Bloom From Battlefield," is that the younger ones have more chance to grow and redeem themselves. Most of their attitude comes with upbringing. I hope this is tackled later on in the story more when they could decide for themselves rather on relying on others' opinion. The flow of the journey seem to start out slow but the advantage of it is easing readers into the world the story has. The MC is merely a child at the beginning, a phase were she herself is discovering her own world. Her adventure leads her to a number of places and I have no doubt she'll travel more, letting us deeper into the setting. The road ahead of Ye Jiao is still long and I can't wait to be there every step of the way. Only more adventures and milestones awaits!

'Path of the lilies' is one of the finest fantasy novel I have read so far. The world of eon energy is truly fascinating and makes you intrigued. The protagonist "Yeah Jiao " is the heart of the story and is so adorable that if she was in real life then I would have kidnapped her and ran far away with her where she doesn't have to go through all the humiliation and hardships that she had to suffer. The story starts with the childhood of the protagonist and lays down the foundation of Ye Jiao's journey from being called trash and humiliated by everyone to losing everyone who treasured her. She is determined to work hard to become eon energy master and become the genius. Ye Jiao's journey from being looked down by people to reaching the pinnacle of the world with the hard work and overcoming the obstacles on her way will touch your hearts. The interesting characters, amazing background and story development makes you feel attached to the story and you can totally feel the world created by the author. The unique story telling of the author which actually starts with the childhood of the protagonist is what makes it different from the rest and shows how sincere and honest the author is towards her work. The story is so remarkable and relatable that I wish it was adapted to a movie or anime. I'm looking forward to Ye Jiao's development and how her story unfolds to make me cry, happy, cheer and love her with all my heart. ♥ 💕

I've finally decided to leave a review because this novel deserves a good review. If not, one of the best. I've always like Sorahana's stories. Followed her from her first one, Flowers Bloom From the Battlefield (if you haven't read that, you should and take note that Soujin is mine). Sorahana's creativity and imagination never fails to amaze me, of how she brings her characters alive in her story and how she make her readers feel love for her characters. How she describes her characters, not just their visible appearance but inner personality is just brilliant. You can tell by how every readers now fall in love with the MC Ye Xiao. How she builds up the atmosphere and the descriptions of places in her story makes us feel as if we are there too. This is her third novel and so far, I've been enjoying it. Could not wait for more chapters. Come and have a read. You won't regret it.
