First off, I'm confused as to why the author wanted to name this novel "The Brave New World," which is extremely similar to Aldous Huxley's famous novel "Brave New World." I think that this is potentially turning off new readers who glance at the title (and old-fashioned book cover art) and don't want to revisit their high school English class again by assuming that this is Aldous Huxley's original book from 1932. As for the writing, there are very few (if any) grammatical errors, so the writing quality is excellent. I've only read the first two chapters, but I really like the idea of a worldwide catastrophe kickstarting the plot. My only qualms are that we don't get a lot of detail about how people are reacting to the unfolding events, or get a sense of the implications from each character's POV. It seems largely 'told' and not 'shown.' For example, when Li Yang tastes a polluted snowflake, we get told about his actions, but not about how he feels about what just happened. Regardless, I'm giving this novel a 5-star rating so other people can decide for themselves.

I was very happy to see what appeared to be a real review until I read it. So you've decided to write a review after reading 2 chapters - about 1.5% of the story? Wow. Had you read a little more than that, you would understand why I chose that title. Or maybe not - who knows. So I'll explain: I chose this title because I dislike Aldous Huxley. I think he's the ideal poster child for an anti-drug campaign focusing on the dangers of dropping acid. This serial is a satire that makes fun of Huxley's wooly-headed ideas, among others. You equate quality writing with good spelling and good grammar? You must be a teacher. The worldwide-catastrophe-kickstarts-plot idea is so hackneyed my teeth ached when I first thought about it. But then I thought: hey, this is Webnovel. 95% of the people here will love it. I'm surprised you like it, because you sound like someone who is relatively well-read. You've even managed to contradict yourself in the fifth paragraph which, btw, is totally off the mark. There are multiple subplots in this story, each expounding on a different point of view. But you'd need to read more than two chapters to find that out. I'm going to delete your 'review' when I get around to cleaning up the whole 'review' mess on this page. It's going to be as pleasant as dealing with an overflowing toilet, so I'll likely postpone it as long as I can.
