That doesn't mean anything. Could have read on a different account, read it offline, just clicked back to check for comments, WN just being glitchy, etc. It's not rare.

Um. Why would the author use a paint of the Louis and Clark Exploration for his book cover?!. Seriously?đŸ€” Note: they used and air rifle to hunt with during it, due to a no gunpowder available. So - an early record for a BB/Pellet gun! 😉

Um...? No?

It is NOT a painting of the Lewis (note spelling) and Clark expedition.

I see. still, it looks just like it. has the two time period woodsmen as well as the two Native American ladies that served as guides... honestly, it fits right in with Louis and Clark Illustrated works that you'd see in the history museum - right down to the artist's style. it'd be very hard to say it wasn't an image of their outing. *shrug* it looks identical to one, so really wondered why something like that would be used. đŸ€”

I don't see any ladies in this picture, just four guys. IIRC, the picture depicts Álvar NĂșñez Cabeza de Vaca's expedition across southern North America in the sixteenth century. It's public domain, don't have the link but you can find it if you look hard enough.

Don't EVER trust Google. It's right 90% of the time, but the 10% when it's wrong can be disastrous.

yep. meant, Google auto-correct ate the name though. it's why my comments end up weird on here sometimes. even correcting the changes, it can still flip it when hitting add/post button. but still... *shrug*
