No one actually voted for this piece of sh17. They boosted the votes and deleted all the negative reviews. It went from 2.8 to 4.4. The main reason this even got picked up is probably because they had some under-the-tables deal and because of the nationalism in it. Choina namba 1 and all that.

Mate its the translator that picked up the story for a lot less of rewards since Webnovel doesn't pay them for the translation. And for the reviews, people sent out 1 star reviews saying this story must have been rigged by webnovel, while the translator said it clearly they are picking it up as a passion project. I agree deleting stupid comments about how they want Plague doctor to be picked when its not up to this translator to have any say in the matter, they can only choose to put in extra effort for a passion project on their own project.... People just kee pthinking this is some sort of Webnovel conspiracy or that this story replaced some other story, which is dumb. All it takes is looking around for 2 minutes to get the general jist of whats going on if you are actually taking a moment to read both sides of the story.

The translator has to be telling the truth right? He couldn't have possibly been given some "support" from an anonymous person. And deleting nearly all the negative reviews on a novel that is solely being translated out of passion by a translator, and not at all supported by the app is completely fine, doesn't seem out of place or suspicious in anyway at all.

You are seeing a conspiracy here, what I see is a damned if you do damned if you don't,and I would rather have them delete those 1 star reviews that were basicly just mad ravings of dissapointed fans completely unrelated to reviewing the novel. Tell me how you would have fixed the review section? Just let people abuse spam it further cause they don't like the site? Not all reviews are sensible and some reviews are just blatants exp grabs sure, but when its to the point people are hating on the site and not even reading the story they have to fix it. As a user I expect them to fix it. Imagine that happening to your favorite story and what would you feel if they just let it be. I'm not fanboying over them but the concept of favoritism just cause they fixed something broken is ridicoulus to me. About the translator being honest or not, we can't tell, but assuming webnovel has some sort of fixation on the story and actively working to screw over the readers is just as baseless. Or prove me the translator is lying and that webnovel is evil and moving behind the scenes planning to madly profit from an avarage quality book that wasn't picked up by enough fans to garner their attention. They didn't even just delete the ones who were b17ch1ng and moaning about this novel delaying anything. All review 2 star and under were deleted. Even those that were legit criticisms about the novel. You don't find it suspicious at all that a novel that wasn't slelected and seemed to be hated by most if not a good chuck of the community could not only keep up but consistantly get more votes than a novel that was chosen legitimately and has for the most part gotten a positive response from the community? The moment the this novel was released, despite not being supported the the app and solely relying the translator's "passion" it somehow got into the top 10 of the power rankings on its first day of release and is constantly advertised by the app. Again, to reiterate, this novel which received a mostly negative response from the community got consistantly more votes than a novel that was mostly possitively received, is advertised when you open the app and got into the top 10 of the power ranking upon released. All supposedly without any support or help at all from the app. If you still don't think that there isn't even at the very least a little bit shady going on, then i really don't see how to argue with you. So, lets just agree to disagree if you still don't feel at least a bit dubious.

I dint know this was getting a tl lol. I read this one before and the mtl too. The story is pretty good, especially if you enjoy gaming. And to the people saying it like IRAS, yes and you know why, cuz there is some large face slapping about to happen. They’re gonna doubt his games and he’s gonna deliver on quality. Now if you don’t like that then you probably shouldn’t read this. From what I’ve seen there’s no harem, but I haven’t read that far to conclude conclusively about romance. Because he hasn’t competed much in the foreign industry (as far is I have read) I don’t know about if there will be racism. But if you like video games you will probably like this. And also if you liked IRAS. I like it personally, but I understand why people might not like it. So cool I guess.

Ive read up to chapter 64.. and I've found that this book had good translations and story.. If you count out all the in-plot copying.. After aroud chapter 45.. aka the pay to unlock chapters.. The book starts to go down hill in terms of quality.. Whether its the translators fault or the authors IDK.. But the book just starts to skim through descriptions and just Info-dump every and any kind of information about card games, W.O.W and Animes.. When we get to around chapter 60.. Its so bad its like Im reading MLT books.. Also this book has been released up to chapter 58 since November 2nd (Free of Charge, now on 64) but has been repacked through trail reads?? Im afraid that if I rate this book too badly they will take my post down like in other unworthy books that have already passed vote selection (Bots for votes and Bots for 5-Star reviews)

This is a passion project, Neither the trial novel slot nor the voting pool slot was taken. Please check it before going hysterical.
