I expected nothing when I started reading this but dang, this is great. I’ll give a brief review of the plot, please be warned that there would be light spoilers ahead. - The power system is Dao-heavy themed but the world is set on Post-apocalyptic Earth where ‘Mara’ runs rampant and the Qi & Heavenly Dao are polluted hence practioners have high chance of losing control-- mutation or going insane. MC crossed over to this world and woke up in an underground basement where there are only children of the same range of age as him aside from Professor Zhang-- who told them they are the “last of humanity” (these just screams Promised Neverland lol). And before MC woke up on this world, he received a system where he cultivates through being lazy. --- Personal thoughts: Great plot, Good writing. A well-done combination of Cultivation and Post Apocalypse. Humorous. PETS. Moderate to Fast Paced. No harem. No faceslaps. No Arrogant Villain Characters. Recommended. > Author really did a great job writing this, it’s not bland at all. The story as a whole is light and humorous but sometimes there will be a dark, heavy feel and tënsion going on. > The world setting has a mystery surrounding it where in some chapters you’d noticed subtle hints about it. Also, it’s not an info dump. Author minced them apart, fed them to the readers in different chapters so you’ll get time to digest them and also retained a bit of mysterious effect. > The cultivation system, although a bit common but there are also unique points in it-- the terms used, cultivation techniques and rules PLUS the losing control part. IN WHICH the latter really really reminded me of Lord of the Mysteries hahaha. > System. The system also have its restrictions so it did not necessarily made him overpowered where he could facesmack everyone but just enough so he could survive and be labeled as ‘genius’. > Characters. Interaction between them may seem forced at first but it will flow smoothly and naturally later on. MC’s partners and their interactions are the comic relief of this series lol. > Great plus for cats and dogs!!! <3 The only complaint I have is sometimes it’s just too fast paced and the MC. MC is sometimes dumb and sometimes smart. Make up your mind author! Lol. But overall, this is great great great. Review from c39.

Powerful MC with a unique system. There will be slight spoilers and these are the things I’ve gathered from 60 chapters. How is the MC? He seems a little shameless. But that may just be due to the fact that he can get stronger through being as lazy as possible. And he does get pretty strong in comparison to his peers. He’s a little thick-skinned when dealing with other people’s sh*t and has no qualms with doing something that other disapprove of. Story? Can’t go too much into that. But it seems to be progressing at a reasonable pace. Only one major change has happened so far. But I will say that the MC starts in a base with other children and one mysterious caretaker. Concepts? Similar to cultivation, the novel uses “Degree of Taoification” to represent realms, “Primordial Spirit” to represent amount of Qi (?), “Divine Map” to represent a cultivation technique I guess, and “Spark” to represent the energy in the world. The Spark is corrupted and can easily cause normal humans or cultivators to mutate. Those are the basic concepts, I won’t go into further detail. The System? The system allows the MC to generate laziness points by being lazy. He can use these points to increase his Degree of Taoification, Primordial Spirit, and points on his Divine Map. Other than that, the system doesn’t talk much at all. Impressions? I’m looking forward to when I can read more chapters. I’ve read a few of the other trial reads and this one is one of the better ones if not the best. I like the pace the story is progressing at and am enjoying his growth.
