great start but i do have a question. since he can control beasts will he gain a monster as a pet? also what about the arc for when the blood shadows attack the village? (i think thats what the criminals sent are called just before rimuru becomes a demon lord) will he be in the village or away? because his immortality will drastically change what happens.

They serve the church and slaughter his villagers he was delayed in returning to the village. When he sees the bodies it throws him into a rage that causes him to complete the demon lord ritual. By slaughtering the army the church sends his way. But if the mc has immortality in a sense he could defeat them on his own. Or delay them long enough for rimuru to return before they are slaughtered. If that happens he might not become blinded by rage to become a demon lord. So how will you go about this?

Also this is just a suggestion but could you possibly do a pov from rimuru about finding the mc and a few events that happen?

Rimuru becoming a demon lord is a very important event in the story. And with the MC knowing that fact, he will not try to save Shion and the others. I guess this is a spoiler for the story that i haven't even wrote yet lol. But eh *shrug*
