Its kinda slow paced and because of her past she doesn't like human touch etc but it picks up around chapter 15 if i remember correctly so i would say read it until chapter 20 to see if you like it but she os definitely not useless especially in the latest chapters

And just so you know she trains alot and becomes pretty strong and in my opinion uses her knowledge correctly
