character development really needs to be 0 to 10? why not start at 5 or 6 . i think a lot of people dont like uncool or stupid mc

I understand what ur saying here and yes the story would be better if it started in a 5 not necessarily 6 but from what I can see rather than focusing on fighting I think the author wants to make this like a kingdom building novel just swap out kingdom with clan so he wants to develop complex characters for future plot That is if I am right and the author really does do it if not Then it’s probably just because he’s new to writing cultivation novels that’s all

It’s obviously not a 5/5 but it’s better then most garbage that is made it needs better world backgrounds development , stability, and character design

But other then that it’s a good story nothing is without imperfections

Infact here read this story Demons virtue This is what I would call 4.5/5 only draw back is that the story is still new and the world background has not been fleshed out but other then that it only took it 90 chapter to make me cry over a character death. Read it it’s a true gem

0-10 im at ch 44 still a coward and a pussy xD
