I dropped this novel by chapter 6 because it starts off with the ML raping the FL while she is drunk and drugged with an aphrodisiac. I have no hope that he's going to become less of a jerk, or that she will learn not to create misunderstandings that don't get resolved for half the book. 😑

I agree. Actually, if you read the next few chapters, their roles have changed. The FL is r*aping the ML. I dropped this as well. I could not stomach reading more from their story. Both characters are dumb. They don't know how to communicate well. Toxic.
