I was gonna make a review seeing as I 'finished it' but I figured I'd rather compliment yours as it is pretty alike what I wanted to write. 1.- As you said, this novel had more potential than the normal gonna catch them all but not for the reasons that you mention, for one. I think this is one of the very few harems where the girls are not just decorations, this man really does make his women work lol, very few times he involves himself, and most of the time it is his wives doing everything with just him involving himself when it is about saving a 'damsel in distress', I like and hate that in this novel. I like it because all the harem is involved and on very few occasions does the author forgets anyone. But I hate it because the author didn't do it properly. Making the MC involved only to pickup women make his development as MC rather lackluster, not mentioning the fact that most of the time he just follows the plot like a viewer and only involves himself with things that don't cause a major impact in future events. 2.- You just got the wrong perspective, it is not that he's less powerful than his wives, it is that his wives fight way more than he himself does, thus making that illusion, again I don't dislike it but I'd rather he gets more up leveled enemies to fight that could make him showcase his strength, like Voldemort for example, that was a very good fight. The third is very much the second... For whoever reads this I only recommend you finish the novel at the epilogue of One Piece and not continue further. For me the best arc was Harry Potter, from then on it just went downhill till it hit rock bottom at One Piece. Still, I liked the idea of a man having a pantheon with his wives. And I enjoyed it overall.
