Review Detail of Curiosity44 in Ascension or journey from world to world

I have but one question. Does your character simp too? I don't mind fair treatment of others, but the very 2nd paragraph in this one basically clearly states he's a simp. If not, I'd be interested in reading yours. I like the basic concept, but I hate simp MC's, they're just glorified tools to me. Reminds me I need to check up on that novel about the weakest demon general reincarnating as the 2nd hero, resetting the world in the process.

Please describe your definition of 'Simp'. I am not familiar with this term. I don't know why you felt the need to tell me but your talking about 'I reincarnated for nothing' by 'Toika', one of the gods of Korean novels.

Oh I am certainly not saying his novel is anyting like that. It just had me thinking of novels that do not have simp mc's. I'd copy in what he wrote, but I can't really do that, and I don't want to write it out. But I'll give you a few samples: "You could say, "probably say this guy is damn popular with women." And you'd not be mistaken. However, Micheal does not use this, in fact, he respects womens, therefore he does not want to use them as disposable product, but if a girl who does not betray him falls in love with him, then micheal will gladly accept her." So the basic point is that he seems to think: No matter how much of a prize a man is, he has no rights to have any standards. As long as the random woman wants a relationship and does not outright betray him. That defines a simp of a MC. It basically even has the slogan added to it "respect wamen!" That is a 2nd paragraph to kill all my interest in the story(the rest of the paragraph is basically boasting about the MC, and setting him up as Mr. Perfect. It all basically describes a simp's wet dream. Where they're in the perfect body, with their simple-minded ideology, where all women are put on piedestals and can almost do no wrong). No, I did not make any of that up. Not even the grammatical issues, or the spelling errors. That is word for word within the 2nd paragraph. And it hurt me to write it/read it several times over to make sure I got it right, why couldn't you just read it there yourself? I told you where it was.

To clarify, I meant to say I did not notice any simpering on the part of Toika's MC. And in the 2nd half of the first paragraph, I refer to this author/his MC.

And reading the comments of others, it's basically a trend that continues. Where he's a tool and white knight for women in various places. Functioning much like a convenient tool, glorified sperm donor, and where he plays 2nd fiddle to the women he gives his blood to. I can't know if they're right. But reading that 2nd paragraph? I am willing to believe it.

Lastly though? Simp has already been pretty well defined, and others commented on it. It's basically a guys that mindlessly martyr themselves away for women they don't know, understand, and that don't really care about them. Men that allow themselves to become the convenient tools of women, instead of their equals.

So once again, now that I've clearly defined the issue: Does your MC do the same? If not, I may very well enjoy it.
