Mmm. Personally, I don't think this is a great novel. I don't like the personality of the protagonist, he's a liiiittle bit... how do I say this. He sounds like he's written by an author who isn't really socially adjusted. Reading the first few chapters, it definitely seems like the case. A cashier won't ignore you just because you're a country bumpkin or a nerd, they may just be having a bad day, or they aren't big on customer service. And I don't know a single person who thinks it's loser-ish to spend a day watching movies, as not everyone is a party-holic. What I'm trying to say is, the protagonist is way too thin-skinned, and has too much of an inferior complex. The characters thus don't feel too realistic. It tries to insert a comedic undertone, but the humor's just kind of flat. I just really don't know anyone who finds quirky comebacks that are inserted everywhere, funny. Also, the writing style is very *******. Too much "!!!" and ALL CAPS, among other things. Emphasis is done in all the wrong ways. If you want to emphasize a character's emotions, pour everything into descriptive adjectives. It's not completely bad, compared to some of the fanfictions on this site, along with some of the female protagonist romance novels, but you can't say it's good either, especially since there are actually some really good works on this site. Overall: 3.4 stars Writing Quality: 3 stars Stability of Updates: 5 stars Story Development: 3 stars Character Design: 2 stars World Background: 4 stars

I feel guilty writing this review. Please don't let my review discourage you, author, on the off-chance that you see this. I do like the storyline you've come up with. I've always loved hetero romances centering male protagonists, and it's rather rare in comparison to female protagonist centered romances. Sure, the male protagonist isn't exactly to my taste, since I don't really relate to that type of main character. However, others may. So don't really take that to heart. Rather, about the critique of the technical aspects of your novel in my review...

No worries. It's fine.. you just told me what were the things that I needed to improve. Writing reviews were not always about commending a work, sometimes constructive criticisms were also needed. As you've said, it might not be on your liking but others may. It only showed that we really could not please everyone with what we are doing and that was absolutely normal. By the way, thank you for finding time to leave me with a review
