Lower ratings doesn't bother me when I first see a fanfic unless I see a really low one but I'll still check it out. Reviews like this, people don't pay attention to since I only see reviews that actually give reasonable opinions and also tells about the story and I'm sure everyone also does the same.

Well I don't care about troll reviews either but they will affect his average star rating, which IS something I care about. If a novel has a lot of bad reviews, it's usually for a reason.
