i can only say that the system was good.... and thats it. the mc is a racist over-nationalistic chinese man, everyone who are not chinese are the enemies of china. everything chinese is superior to everything that is not chinese. this novel just highlights the fact that the author is biased and racist. also the mc is p*ssy and hypocryte in a not so funny way. poor sense of humor and too much face-slapping. also, for some unknown reason, i kinda look down on the chinese now that i read this novel. final thoughts: i only read this because of the system, everything else is urban low-fantasy garbage.

I am happy to know that I am not the only one who strangely started to despise China after I saw so much racism and nationalism in their novels LOL

Amen to that brother. I was wondering whether to start this novel, now I ain't touching it even if you paid me. This happens with quite a few CN based on the modern age,and it's gets extremely exasperating after a while. The Chinese fantasy novels, that I can live with, if they have the usual tropes of faceslapping and whatnot. But in the modern era, going all gung-ho and acting like a munchkin with a passive-aggressive heroism complex is just laughable. And then you want to be respected as a world power? No free thinking person will ever be 100% satisfied with their country, and this ultra nationalist vibe just kills any curiosity or respect I might have for the country. Don't get me wrong, I get that it feels good to praise your country and celebrate it, but at the cost of putting down others? Then what's the use of your 5000 year long history you dumb wastrel if you can't even learn humility. Arghgh, I swear I'd much rather choke on bat soup than read such novels, FML. P. S. I'm not saying all CN are bad. There are a few precious gems around that make me feel hopeful for this genre. Ex. Superstars of Tomorrow, would highly recommend.
