A delicious soup out of three parts darkness and craziness, a big gulp adorableness (Eli is such a sweet ghul 😍), a spoonful fun, and magic as a spice. I really, really love it 😁 especially Eli. But Nell is good, too, 'cause of her craziness and stubborn attitude 😂 Also, don't forget the cat 😏 I could never ignore such an adorable, grumpy cat. Kind of tsundere, I suppose... ☺️

I like the word background. well female lead's past is somewhat tragic. I feel feel so sad for her and I hope that she and Eli get a happy ending like in the fairy tales. And I must say Eli is so desperate to lose his virginity to her. She is so cute when she tries to kick him out every time he tries to do something so clingy type . Anyway they are cute when they together. MC is so wild and fierce when she tries to defend her so husband she is so cute and ML he is dump or what I don't know because he always asking her give him a proper kiss but it is also so cute.

I am.... Lost for words! This novel is really good. Even better then the writing quality is the fact that I could completely relate to it. This is the story of a 27 year old lady (the mc) who writes crime novels ( and is peerlessly horrible at it) and lives a dull mundane life. Her life is so boring that she wishes to escape from it. A couple of her suicide attempts fail and she ends up in a strong sense of delusion. She creates a devil like character in her mind that does.... Practically nothing. Her mundane life takes a turn for better or worse when she stumbles upon the corpse of a dead man and reports to the cops who after their investigations, eventually blame the crime on our MC. Chapter 1 was too dayum sad 😭😭😭 Caution notice: Don't get too attached to the story. Since the author wrote it in first person perspective, readers can relate to the events really well ( almost completely sync). You don't want to end up as a depressed, bland person do you? 😏

A beautiful start! The depiction of the heroine's depression is heartbreaking. I was blown away by the way she was written as someone a reader immediately cares about. Her poetic thoughts and strong personality drive the story.

I fell so in love with this book! I cant wait to read more! It is deffinitely a slow burn romance, but the characters are well developed and you become engrossed in no time.
