The writing was good world background was good but after 83 chapters of "Ghosts aren't real" or "it must have been a hallucination" i dropped. The mc gets overpowered all the time he keeps saying he's going to go to a psychiatrist yet never does and even though he keeps getting overpowered he doesn't try to get stronger or if he's already strong then he's just a pussy. When his boss breaks into his house all the time he justs let's her push him around. The mc never fights back(he's a beta). And in chapter 65 through 76 i don't even know what's happening. There is no progress at all. Spoiler When the mc went to see Adele at the psych ward he had a hallucination yet he left and went to where the hallucination told him to go despite saying "ghosts aren't real". He should've assumed that adele was at the psych ward since he didn't actually go there. Beta Mc Dumb Mc What's there to like? Plus even though the title says Isekai I've yet to see it happen yet even after the 1st volume was finished.

Sorry to hear the story wasn’t up your alley and thanks for the feedback. Mild spoilers: Volume 2 lays the foundation for the second part of the title and towards the end the protagonist tries to rationalize what’s happening around him, he’s also gradually having his belief to refute the paranormal and maintain normalcy really tested toward the end. Volume 3 expands on the idea of an unorthodox isekai along 6 paths, only 2 of them have been written and published so far, the other 4 are a work in progress. Volume 4, what I’m presently working on is where the title begins to really sink in.

I liked the beginning but in reality no-one would continue their beliefs of ghost aren't real. Plus if my boss broke into my house and watched me(unless they had something on me or was paying me lots of money)i would've sued and/or called the police. Also why did he go to a place where a supposed ghost told him to if he didn't believe in ghosts? He could've easily kept driving to the the psych ward if he thought he was having a hallucination. Also how is adele breaking out all the time? You can't honestly believe he and adele wouldn't have been arrested(she killed people and supposedly the ward guards and he is hiding information on an escaped mental patient, besides just because your mind is better doesn't mean you won't be imprisoned for 50 murders).

You're under the assumption that DIo is also a normal person to begin with. Why Dio must refute the existence of ghosts is part of the overarching mystery. Instead of asking why he doesn't believe yet, you should ask, why does he persist in refuting their existence. Dio pretends to not know and diverts his eyes, but deep down he has awareness. Aware of the "what," but he can't accept the "what." He knows he shouldn't even think about it. As for suing his boss, it's not so simple. You're under the assumption justice prevails over all equally, but in the real world, as sad as it is, money speaks loudest. Dio knows he'd never win in a lawsuit against a big shot who could toss around exorbitant amounts of cash. He has no social media presence either to try something like a gofundme, he's got to lay low after all. A case like suing his boss could get coverage and put his life at risk if the people he's dated locate him because of it. He's also extremely wary of any ties his boss might have with law enforcement with how she was able to get details related to Rick's case. Why he went to Adele's family mansion is because he feels mentally cornered by that point. The stress is getting to him and begins to gradually degrade his sense of judgment in prioritization. What he experienced felt so real that he could hardly distinguish between reality and fiction. He's gradually being pushed forward on a subconscious level, but he still denies it on the surface. Adele escaping can be resolved with money. Her family was filthy rich after all, bribing a few people isn't hard these days. If you've got enough money or something of value another party wants, anyone can be bailed out. Also, there was never any direct evidence found that suggested Adele was the one that killed the people found in the family mansion, only circumstantial evidence, no hard evidence. She herself owns up to having done it, but it has never been proven beyond reasonable doubt. With good enough lawyers and the right statements there are loopholes in the law that can be abused and taken advantage of.

I would ask why he wouldn't quit but, that could violate a contract and/or it would be hard to find another job because of quitting and he'd have to find a job willing to hire him with his record. So there's a lot of logical explanations. The only i don't get is why adele knew he was going to the mansion and why she was there. But I'll just wait until i read this again. Thanks and bye bye.

Alright, it has been a while since I've done a proper review. So please be forgiving when it comes to what I type here. Originally I wasn't very sure of the title. I was concerned it would just be another smut novel, but the psychological horror tag gave me a glimmer of hope. A glimmer of hope I'm thankful for since it got me to read this excellent piece of work. Now let me explain this a bit since a simple "great read!" review does not do this novel any justice. The first ten or so chapters really hit me. There were a few parts that made me legitimately feel like puking just because of the gross factor. Which is good because it means I was immersed in it at the time! It's probably the first time a novel ever made me sick too. Then there's our MC. A person with truly ****ty luck. I mean how can one person luck be so bad!? But it gives them an interesting personality and the way his experiences have helped mold him has made him feel more like a 3D character so to speak. A real person that you can relate with in many ways. At least in my opinion. Then there's the psychological factor. It's definitely there I assure you. And is well written. If our protagonist didn't have the background history he had I'm sure he would have gone crazy and ended up with a bad end. And the writing itself is honestly very good. Just everyday dialogue is entertaining to read. But don't take my words for it. I'm being serious about that. Go and read it yourself. Check out if this book is all this review claims it is. As for you author if you just so happen to see this THANK YOU! Truly thank you. There are a lot of novels out there. Thousands. Probably hundreds of thousands but your novel stood out to me out of that jumbled mess of novels. It can be hard to write sometimes. But no matter how hard or tiring it gets just know that there are readers like me who honestly enjoy this novel. Maybe consider opening a Patreon in addition to your amazon deal if you ever need a bit more pocket money? Every writer needs to eat. I will be buying your novel soon on amazon to help support you, but your novel does deserve more attention than its currently getting. But keep up the good work on your novel! I love it so far and I'm looking forward to binge reading all these chapters you have available. Stay safe! I hope your novel will get the attention it deserves soon.

Just make quick account to post this review here as I read the book somewhere else. Dunno if naming sites is against TOS of this site. This review has been written while I still haven't finished the whole book as I'm trying to get my amazon account unsuspended. What happens when the world seems to want to screw you over at each turn. When fate and mathematics both point out that you should have been lying in your grave a long time ago. Dio is born. The man who shall carry the fate of the world or garner enough attention of all psychos for long enough so that the rest of the men population has time to procreate. Dio, the most unlucky of unluckiest carries on in the world that wants to give him nothing more than a stick. The story itself holds both a lot of suspensions and charm at the same time. The story is gruesome, don't take that wrong. There will be a mountain of gore before the tale ends. Yet whenever Dio talks with someone who is a woman, both his never-ending suspicion and skepticism that he is talking to another Yandere make me crack a smile. Both at the wit of the conversation and ridiculousness that preserves in it. The supernatural elements are done very well. I'm still not sure whatever Dio is bat**** insane, or there is more to everything that's happening though I would like to know if ghost gf is waifu material or not. Still, the mystery of the situation is indeed very entertaining. Dio is a character that, in the end, despite everything that's happening to him, chooses to prevail. He may be quite smart, yet it's not thanks only to his intelligence that he survives, but thanks to his unwillingness to give up and stop moving even when he is clearly at his wit's end. Tbh I'm not that good at grammar, so there is not much I can say about it. It seems good to me. I also like the style in which the book is written, and while it's more similar to Japanese light novels, it's undoubtedly not inadequate or lacking coherence. The world flow is excellent, and the storytelling is really immersive. I want to get my amazon account back to continue reading this. Should have downloaded a copy for offline reading :/. Once I read the whole thing, I will write a more thorough review.

Tian, is thrown into a whirl of unfortunate circumstances, resulting in his death. . His parents had a brutal car accident that left them in a coma, and his uncle had quickly taken over the company,  and seized the company, making sure that he was financially crippled for good. With that, the famous young master struggled desperately. And in the end, he gave in to his despair and depression, leaving the sad, lonely world. The end? Heh... Think again! Help! The famous demon wants to eat me!" [Evil Spirits]: "You!... Are you the one who is an evil spirit or us? Why the hell did it seem like you're the demonic one instead?" [Ghouls]: "You stay away from me! Stay away from me now, you evil entity!" [Hellhounds]: "Are you sure you're not the son of hades?" The system couldn't help looking at its host in doubt. Its indicators said that its host was indeed mortal. But why did it feel like something was wrong with its host? Dorian lightly chuckled in amusement. He would also like to ask the same question. What exactly was his identity? Well, this would be the biggest mystery of all. But Dorian wasn't in a hurry. Who were his enemies, and who were his allies? Soon, he would find the truth. In the meantime, why not play a little? "Demon! stay back!" "Oooo~~~... I... I want to go back to the underworld where it's safe." "Run for your lives! The demon is here!" …..
