The novel is slow-paced and inconsistent. In the beginning, we see the mc as a strong-willed foolish pup then after becoming he loses that trait. The author says that the "Fourth Mother" can understand him, but then she doesn't? And later on, it becomes a joke and the MC becomes the pet of people.

It's not there just for the sake of keeping the otherworlder's identity safe or any plot hole by the author. Isn't it interesting?
