The same crappy Chinese format, a sad backstory to evoke empathy for the MC, one of a kind powers to make him special and awe everyone with his "talent"( the only one I don't have a problem with.), He has obvious skills that are somehow forgotten and ancient just to give him more cool points, and all the other characters are there to provide hi with fodder to prove how awesome he is. All that and the most overused isekai tropes presented in a bad way. Over all the only reason I made it to chapter 34 is due to blind hope it would get better.

Kinda agree. Not everything has to be ancient to be strong. If something is strong, then it 100% would never be forgotten or lost. The most op weapon us humans have is called a nuke. Is it an ancient weapon? No, it is a modern bomb. An ancient technique can be about how to scratch your balls. Having such an ancient technique won't make you strong. A modern technique can give you the ability to go logia fire mode and be untouchable while you can only be hit by a special kind of attack. Basically, something being tagged ancient is just a flex and not a factor of strength.
