Tried, but I really don’t do well with reading novels where a second male lead is involved. Just not my cup of tea. Besides that point, I can’t really find many other faults and the premise of alternate timelines was quite interesting.

The synopsis is pretty clear though. I'm sorry you didn't like the novel because it has a second male lead. I hope you find a novel you'll really like 😁

Don’t misunderstand me, I don’t dislike the novel. Only that one aspect, but I never stated I would stop reading it. I only overlooked it, though I do feel that I’ll miss certain details, I’m still able to grasp the overall picture of things. Will say that I’m now liking the direction in which things are headed.

Haha dont worry! I hope you like it 😁 But if you're into books with second male leads, you can check out my other book Star Crossed: The Idol King and Empress of Evil. Its a spinoff of this book and I don't really plan to use a second lead there any time soon 😁

I get nervous with two male leads as well because that usually translates to a “love triangle” tug of war between the 2 male leads and the female lead. Is there sort of what happens here?

Not exactly, it can be seen as both good and bad with the way things turned out. As I was clear who the real ML was to begin with, I tried avoiding the chapters in which focused solely on the FL and the 2nd ML because they didn’t sit well with me, but I still managed to get a generally gist of what was going on. Things eventually play out well with the FL and ML, but before that she’s with the 2nd ML and the ML isn’t exactly a saint either in regards to women. Anyhow, disregarding these things, I think the read was worth it. Though I advise you to prepare your heart if you do decide to read because things aren’t all sunshine and rainbows in this novel.
