From the start I am someone who loves this type of book where the main character is implementing advanced or different knowledge into a new world. But there are so many stories where this is done awkwardly. Thankfully this gem of a story has avoided that problem. The writing is good even if there are grammar mistakes every so often, but that doesn’t detract from the enjoyment at all. The world building is great too talking about multiple countries and their specialization and characteristics. It does have a feeling of irregular at magic high school but this is mainly only for the first major arc which is a competition between schools. But it only has passing similarities and deviates from that path pretty early on in the competition. If you like less battle stuffed stories and prefer a well built world then you should read this novel.

This is a unique take of the system/gamer genre where instead of a video game it uses an alien device to create the system/gamer interface. I really enjoy the mix of sci-fi and fantasy. The author spends a lot of time and detail explaining how magic works since this story is about a magical engineer the detail makes the story more enjoyable because you feel more connected to the events in the novel. The world building and the wide variety of characters give the novels world a lived in feeling. The main character is interesting I wish that the author would spend as much time fleshing out the MC relationship to his family and friends as the author does on magic theory and world building. I will give the author bonus points for injecting the novel with humor and making the novel a good light read when the novel could have been dense and dry. I recommend this novel to anyone who like fantasy with a sci-fi twist.

If you know the light novel, anime youjo senki, you will definitely like this novel. It's a militarized fantasy type novel, which is really cool. The magic system here is also the same and yet different from the normal magic systems usually used in novels. It feels like a mix of western and eastern magic. Overall it was a fun read.

This story is a hidden gem. You know, these days it’s hard to find a novel with this many characters’ taste. I want MOOOOOORE!! More CHAPTER!!!

The quality of this book baffles me. It started out well with a relaxed pacing and good grammar. But after 15 chapters took a sharp nose dive into the all too common mixed past-present tense grammar, horribly choppy pacing, and unclarified unexplained ideas. I think the idea is interesting, and I was even willing to bare with the cliche video game system, but the writing quality became too terrible and ruined my enjoyment.

Interesting combination of Scifi and Fanatsy Elements. Partially slow but overall exciting Storyline. Definitely a recommendable read. I am very interested in seeing where the story will go.

I am at chapter 74 and so far for this is one of the best novel i have read. I makes me want to keep on reading and can't wait for the next chapter to be uploaded. I hope the author can maintain the story as interesting as it is. To author, keep writing. More power!

It started off interesting but there are waaaay too many filler chapters with a bunch of randoms fighting and it goes into so much detail I just ended up skipping about 15 chapters and still didnt miss anything from the main storyline.
