I just ended the movie it was heart warming buy wat got be confused I never understood lan zhan feeling toward wei ning was it a brotherly love or he truly love wei ning i got a little confused there cause that what I thaught but he never confessed his felling

In the novel Lan Zhan loved Wei Ying romantically, they became lovers at the end. In the drama version, they could not make them lovers because of the censorship of the Chinese government over the media. No gay relationship is allowed, so usually the BL drama screen writers change the relationship to a more brotherly one, but to give a bit of justice to the fans of the novel, they give hints that their relationship is actually deeper than that of brotherhood. I was quite surprised that the Untamed drama was bolder than others Bl adaptations, because their relationship was almost openly bl. You can see in how Lan zhan look at Wei and care for him, in a more than a brotherly way. If you ask me, the drama Lan Zhan have romantic feelings for Wei, he looked at him like he was in love with him, but I guess is up to each of us to think whatever we want it. Thanks for reading.
