As long as there is concentration of human being, there will always be a fool in 1,2 of 10 guys... I don't know about your view of Sweden, but some Sweden male that I got to know even disdain on Asian... So, not knowing about sign language or even misunderstand it as secret language for underground mobs is normal.. Especially if the fool is the narrow mind type or just hate everything he doesn't do or see normally...

As long as there is, some ignorance plus disdain toward people, hatred, or any negative feeling, everything foreign that he saw will be registered as bad and negative stuff for them... It's like, if you hate someone, for example me, so whatever I do will incurred wrath from you. Even when I donate millions to orphanage, because you had hatred and negative feeling to me, you will not saw any of my action as good deed, but instead will be me showing off my wealth, getting myself supporter, etc... I know what you mean ... but it was a random family on the street ... basically killed for nothing ... he didnt know theim so why would he hate theim ...

Well my friend, that's what we called, bad luck... The killer had a bad mood, and when he saw a whole family doing suspicious hand sign that he didn't understand, he just thought'I am gonna do justice to the world myself, f#ck the police'.. And he get a gun, and shoot them all... Basically, it's the killer mentality had some problem.. If you hate gangster, will you kill them? No... Unless you had a very, very weird sense of vigilante and thought it's OK to kill bad guys, I will get into heaven for killing bad guys, I am justice, etc....

Funny thing about that I actually did my research throughout all of recorded police interaction of people attacking or calling the police on people for sign language thinking it was gang signs every person has been a registered Democrat funny enough and if you want a good example of a group of racist authoritarian go to an antifa or black lives matter protest and the group uses the most offensive racist comments or insults to anybody they see who Dares think for themselves not stay in line with their point of view
