I have been enjoying this novel. The plot is pretty good, and the main character isn't brainless, and instead makes intelligent decisions. The writing itself is pretty good, though there is the occasional grammatical error, overall it is written well. The story isn't to slow, and proceeds at a good pace. I would recommend reading this novel.

If you are looking for near nonstop action and don’t care about quality then this is the story for you. The synopsis as everyone says is nowhere close to accurate, there are numerous basic spelling errors though only for certain words, and the characters not the mc don’t have much in the way of development. All of but two characters start defaulting to fear and anger if they are even slightly weaker then Derik the mc. Also, names get mixed up occasionally.
