Would have been a good story but the MC personality and just his sheer stupidity is too much for me. I mean he knows about general stuff in novels so why is he so dumb

Your reasons are valid but does not apply to the mc in this story as he knows general novel knowledge and isn't ignorant so he is indeed stupid and a dumbass as he has the info to know not to do something yet still does it
Sakusei:Hmm... As you may know some authors do like character development, and by character development I mean making a stupid and worthless person become a person that will do something like save the world, have a brain like a normal person(If he doesn't know anything why would he be cautious?)
He does it for the sake of rage points, for he knows that only his father can give him large amounts of rage points. It's at the part of the novel when he has to leave the city and go to somewhere else, where his personality will gradually change to something better than the first parts. Something happens in that part which makes him want to focus on cultivation, that makes him want to be stronger. Well you see, his character development is slow and steady, or rather really slow

Oh I thought this was the other idiot mc story that I had reviewed but it was this one but I don't even read this so whatever you say to me is pointless

But I have reviewed alot of story's with dumbass mc so I got them mixed up when a review 6 months old was commented on like what makes you think that's a good idea

Still though try reading it past 200+ chaps that's when the real story starts, the first chaps below 199 are there so he can have connections with people from different status(Such as a gang leader that acts evil, but is actually trying to nurture a monster so he can protect something... And a person that acts like he wants to revolt every 20 years, but is actually trying to cover up hidden info). There's a lot.
