I’m pretty impressed. I think this is the most well-written of all the contest entries along with the top two in #73. Your characters emotions are done convincingly enough, and the settings are clear and sketched out better than most. I also appreciate that you’re updating consistently with a good length per chapter. Along with decent writing/grammar, I think update quality is the next most important in any story but especially for contests. I don’t know if the 10k words requirement to rank is being held in place anymore with stories having much less than that (like 1-3 chapter stories) getting ranked in top 10, but I hope it still is. It doesn’t look like that, but I like supporting the dark horses, so I wish you the best of luck. Hope you continue the story! (:

I found this story coincidentally and thought I give it a shot. It has a good story line and I like the characters. I can see the author is trying not to follow the usual stereotypes what makes everything interesting. There are just a few updated but until now I really like it.
