I hate it when people make wish like instant mastery. You know why, because non of the author understand the meaning of instant mastery. They put stuff like working hard but instant mastery you can learn in a flash as long as you fill the requirements. It can also be use on skill like acting, drawing pretty much anything.

LIKEIts basically nonsensical talent. They could still restrict it by not giving them knowledge how to apply the skill correctly. If you make an impractically designed car it'll suck no matter your technical skills. You could jist throw that out rge window and get something stupid too by having mastery include knowledge.
That is true, they do this because they regret giving the MC and OP wish. At the beginning it seems like a fun idea as they would have an MC that would literally be able to demolish anyone with their own skills but once they have started their novels they quickly realise that it's hard to make a good storyline because they only way for it to be enjoyable is to nerf the MC which everyone hates. If people actually gave the MC mediocre wishes then writing a novel will be much easier. This doesn't exclude wishes to be mediocre or trash because systems are also good as long as there is no infinite currency or stupid instant mastery on purchased skills.
