Hi. Author here, doing the 'obligatory' own self-review. heh. This is my second novel, and it's a spin-off from the first (New Life: Second Chance ie NL:SC). Though it's not required to read the first to read this, it certainly would enrich the experience. However, be forewarned. Reading this novel before that will spoil the first novel's pairings ie all the pairings that developed in the first, is obviously revealed here. Other than that, the two novels are separate from each other. This is a light-hearted novel for me, in the sense that it'll be mainly fluff. There will be lots of cliche moments though it will have it's own twists and approaches that may be different from the norm. At the time of writing, I don't plan for the novel to be long. Estimate about 200 chapters. It's more of a 'break' after writing NL:SC for a year since this novel is geared more towards it being light-hearted and fun. But ... *cough* ... I'm well known amongst my NL:SC readers for never being right or accurate about my plans. After all, NL:SC was meant to be less than 100 chapters (became over 900 chapters) and end in December 2019 (ended in July 2020)... Anyway, the synopsis is there. Though the main couple is Lianne and Kai, there are other pairings like the 2nd ML and 2nd FL. Any questions, just ask here. Hope you enjoy this novel. Happy reading.

Reviewing after being upto date, as of now, chapter 73. Sigh. I really hate discovering novels that really makes me not want to stop reading them and is still on going. 😭 You see, I didn’t come from the Author’s novel, New Life: Second Chance, which I’ve read to be connected to this one, but I did check it out and for some reason, decided not to read it and just jump on to this one as Author did say that we can do that too. So here I am, reading about Lianne and Kai’s story, aswell as the 2nd MCs’ story. Although I do have questions while rading and would simetimes think that the answer might be at the first novel, I’m still pushing thru with this because I love both Lianne and Kai 🙈 I find the story really interesting. Not boring at all. So far, no heavy and complicated atmosphere, which I hope would carry on until the end 🤣 And omygosh, the fluff! I love all the MCs’ interaction, even the friends. 😍 The novel seems fast paced but not at the same time, I mean, atleast for me, it’s not. I actually find the pace really satisfying as I’m hoping that this novel would not be a very long one like what the Author said. 🤣 I love the lightness of the story, so far. There were no drama as of the moment, no face slapping yet. I really really love Lianne! I love her characters, which was shown throuout the chapters. I love her decisiveness. I love how understanding she is. I love her rationality. Given, she gets flustered over Kai, but that’s just it. Eventhough she gets flustered, she can still think rationally baout the situations and what to come. I find her very very refreshing! A breath of fresh air as they say. I love reading about her ❤️ I Ha. I think this might just be the very first time I’m reviewing a novel that is still ongoing and is not a Trial Read from WN. 🤣 And I want more chapters please! 🙈 Can’t wait to know more about them and how the story would unfold. Thank you, Author, for sharing their stories 😍 As for you, who’s debating whether to read or not, please do give this a shot. Read a few chapters. Give it a chance just like how Lianne gave one to Kai 🤣 You never know, you might just become a fan! ❤️

I liked NL:SC very much & PsyberRose is my favourite author. So, I hope everyone reads this. I was never into these types of novels but the author converted me & I've come to like the way her stories develop. While not necessary, I hope everyone reads NL:SC too 😊

Trusting the author's work to be great as I was never disappointed with his first novel, with so many angles to look forward to I trust that the novel will be great and I'll recommend other readers to follow PsyberRose' story from the beginning because you'll enjoy the journey

I'm here lol... I loved the first chapter and I'm not waiting for another chapter to write a review because I trust the author. I'm sure the author would write it beautifully. I'm pretty much already the author's fan. So, guys if you want to read amazing books, read PsyberRose's works ( better make it your motto lol).. they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!! I'm sure her work would make you crave for more.

I love the approach that the author gives to his stories, the first one in my opinion is one of the best I have read, they have a little of everything in the right measure, also you always have to expect the unexpected since they are not typical stories that one always reads when there are female protagonists. Kudos to the author for writing compelling stories where you always wait for your daily fix.

Lillian and Kai!!!!! I knew it!!!! I shipped those twos while back from author-san’s NL:SC. Can’t wait to see what journey they’re going to go to.
