Review Detail of Moonlixe in Gardenia of Blooming Desire (BL)

While this story was well-written for the most part, I couldn't connect to any of the characters. There were either too cruel, too naive, too dense, too dumb or too stupid. This is essentially a angst galore novel, with little to no payback and tons of unnecessary misunderstanding. I was solely disappointed, I thought the novel was going to explore positive character growth and mater-slave relationship, but with every step forward, its a thousand step back. Characters just cannot sit down and TALK, its always I know better for you; for every SINGLE character in this novel. This made it quite hard to differentiate the characters including the ML and MC. Every bloody person had the same goal and went about the same way of achieving said goal only to have it explode in their faces and still carry on with the same method = insanity. It was such a shame. If you love angst, bland characters, unnecessary misunderstanding to stretch plot. Then this story is perfect for you. If you would like a little less whining, people to learn from mistakes, actually use the brain they have; then I say definitely do not read the story. A waste of time I would never get back. Now I get why it took me such a look time to actually read.
