I like the idea. I dont think, or at least I haven't heard of one where they spent time with their parent grandparents. I'm hoping he goes to Ravenclaw because I dont think think, personally that he wont fit anywhere else. I personally would like him to be with Daphne as she isn't too Slytherin, she is pretty as well along with being one of the smartest witches.

I only rating this as FIVE STAR because.... No Golden Trio being formed. The other fanfic Harry Potter and the Prince of Shadow were truly the most nerve wracking pain the a*s fanfic I've ever read on this site. So much bundled of hate I gathered to that wretched fictional character Ron. Seriously the author is ludicrous in giving more attention to that guy from OC's view like there's no tomorrow. So I dropped it and since then only reading Harry Potter fanfic that is worth without that despicable weasel. P.S. I despised Rowling for pairing Hermione to that redheaded idiot.

So far I am having a great time reading this story and honestly hate waiting for the updates.*sigh* I wish some of these fan-fics have over 200 chapters sometimes, but anyways the story is good so far and I like the characters, especially the MC. The story development is going good, and I have no complaints.. (except for the updates . . . . .)

A very interesting and fresh take on the Harry Potter lore. I can't wait to see more of how Philip differentiates and develops as a character in relation to Harry. Great job and I sincerely hope you continue the story author. :)
