Review Detail of funmaxwell in Pokemon - Adventure

Hm i don't know how i should start this review. But I'm going to start by saying the story and grammar and world building aspects aren't bad but their not great ether. I love the hole idea of the premise of this story. But i felt like the characters personalities were somewhat boring or just lacking some how. For instance pokemon In general just seem to love the mc and besides a few cuddle scenes with his starter pokemon thier isn't much in the way development of a personality or at least that's the way i felt when reading this. Another thing that bothered me about the story was it seem to me that the author was trying to insert some relizum into pokemon world. But left surten aspects unrealistic. The author seemed to be doing this when he set the age to being able to get your starter and going on a journey to 17 years old. One of the things that crossed my mind when i read this couldn't they have just gotten their starters at 10 years old and not levee palet town until their 15 or 17 years-old. Another aspect that bothered me was the names red & green. which are basically the anime equivalent of ash and gary. I know their some type of manga these names come from but don't know much about it. The reason this bothers me is because it seemed to me the author was trying to make this fictional pokemon world follow some form of relizum. But keeps these unrealistic names in the story. I mean onistly who names their kids a shade of color. Personally i think the author should have gone with the more well recognized and realistic sounding name of ash and gary. This would also go long ways in making them seem like real people. The last thing i want say is it felt to me that the story was mostly the game story with a few changes. Not sure how else to elaborate on this.
