Full credit for that. You have build the characters well. I have fallen in love with the FL. Well saying anything more will be like a spoiler. The way you have shown in the present and the way you are now showing her growth and transformation from the past is really commendable. Since it's new and has a few chapters, I am not going to comment anything on the stability of updates and all because I know you have the potential to do it. Author-san here! Previously, this novel was known as IEIWE(Instead of Empress, I will be Emperor). However, that name was a mouthful, so the title and cover has now been changed to Blood Peony Emperor! I am also rewriting this novel from chapter 2 onwards, which is why it seems like there is a long time between updates. There isn't. I just deleted the other chapters. Previously, we were discussing the past of Wei Mudan, our beloved princess. Now, we are moving onto her future instead. Raise your swords and fight!

Beautifully written, I can feel the author pouring their soul and breathing life into the story. The characters come to life so beautifully that they feel life like and real. Particularly, I like what the author has done when describing the scenes. The imagery is vivid and descriptive, allowing the reader to sink deeper into this literary piece of art. I recommend this story to anyone who loves eastern fictions with action/adventure genre. What captivated me to reading this novel is how it was written so well, you could actually say it was like a screenplay flashing through your head. Everything is clearly depicted. This is most likely a plot-driven story but I like to say it has a good character-driven part as well. I would'nt mind waiting for a good chapter to come 😁 Thank you author-san!

This is nicely worded, I feel for the general and I'm drawn to her character. She seems to be powerful and a good person just having to deal with what life has handed her. I have encountered a few stories set in this ear and I feel the writer has done a good job portraying the style for the times.
