System in walking dead? That never ends up well. The thing that makes zombie shows good is the fact that although you can outrun zombies in the short term, your stamina can't compare to theirs. Eventually they will catch up and while you're out of stamina they're still moving at the same speed as before. Most of the people in your group will get good enough at handling zombies that humans become a bigger threat. But once their stamina is low due to all of the running, your group could lose a few people to walkers. Even the leader should have to pretend to be invincible because he's just a normal person too. (I haven't read any of your story yet, can you tell me if your protagonist is like those in all of the walking dead fanfics, where they're basically captain america and the zombies can't even bite through their skin even if he let them? I've read some where the protagonist can knock down a concrete wall with one swing of a sledge hammer in the first chapter, only to get saved from a bite by bulletproof skin later. How STRONG does your protagonist get?)

If you get to the point that the mc is twice the strength of an athlete, there is zero suspense left in TWD. Especially when most f the zombies start falling apart from rotting. Will read your next project though
