The story is good but I hate the fact that he easily trusts people even after his "non-biological" father jin long told him not to. He trusted his uncle jin niao, now he wants to kill him. His father specifically said not to tell anyone of his power and that after he uses the orb he will forget everything but the next chapter he remembers it all and tells his uncle, the hell is that???? Apart from that, it's all good but his trust ability and promise keeping is poor!

The plan was indeed to show a very immature and at times even just frustratingly stupid MC in the beginning and then show his growth and character developement, if that makes sense.
