Yes. I stopped reading the "new" novels that come up in the voting section because they are all same old, boring, cliches. I'm getting tired of this tired storyline.

Freaking pitiful. Trying to piggyback off of other's success. That novel can't be topped.

I think QI keeps choosing these novels because the majority still keep reading (or more importantly, paying for) them. Chinese readers don’t all read this kind of stuff because they already grew up with it and are sh*t tired of it. That’s why novels like Doomsday Wonderland are popular and highly ranked there but relatively unknown here on WN Maybe it’ll take years before WN readers get tired of the the usual cold rapey CEO tropes and start to look for something else. Or maybe just like Wattpadders, they never will. They’ll grow out of it and new generations will just replace them.
