Review Detail of Sum1else in I Reincarnated As A Stick

It's like the author took out all the joy and fun in a reincarnated system novel, leaving only the level up stuff. There's a bit of humor here, but the joke goes on too long without developing any meat to the story to keep things moving.

Plus I don't know what you were expecting in this novel, but I apologize for not meeting your expectations. Could you at least light me on some issues you may have with my novel?

Your novel reads like a very dry and ironic satire of the standard reincarnation novel. Usually the protagonist in this sort of story would reincarnate as a Hero or Talented individual with special abilities. Subversions to this genre include reincarnating as a villain or reincarnating in unusual situations such as within a game. In all of these stories, there is a hook of some kind. We are able to live out a power fantasy or watch the protagonist rise above a difficult situation using special skills. Reincarnating as a stick though... It's not a logical thing anyone would do. It doesn't make sense. I'm not even clear why anyone would even play a game called Stick: Infinite Evolution, and you don't delve into any compelling reasons to help us along either. Because all the characters within the novel take it as a natural thing, it has to be a joke. But the joke is only in the idea. Everything else you play completely straight. As you said, the joke is that there is no joke. Sure that's funny, but after reading multiple chapters of watching a stick learn to Roll, then Roll+, then Roll++, then attack twigs, it gets stale. It's a funny punch line, but I don't think it works as a sustainable webnovel when you play it so straight without any other comedic elements. Once the fun from the first joke wears off, you only have the trappings and disparate elements of a reincarnation novel without any of the heart and without any additional humor. Hope that helps. Writing a novel is both difficult and a lot of hard work. I don't mean to be super critical or negative here. Be proud of what you've done and keep writing!

I'm assuming you've been reading Japanese isekai LNs since most of those have the themes you've just mentioned, being reincarnated as a Hero or someone with talent. You've also read multiple reincarnation webnovels in here as well, having...almost the same themes as well. Of course, reincarnating as a stick is an absurd thing to do. As you can see, no one has written a novel like it other than me. I've also added a system into the novel already. if I didn't, you'd have no sense of progress whatsoever because...it's just a stick. A stick inherently does nothing rather than be a stick. A stick cannot change its fate, a stick cannot evolve, and a stick cannot have a soul. As for the characters like Prince Vanadir and Dane accepting the fact that things evolve, this has something to do with the mechanics of the game itself being transferred into the world MC is in. Anyways, I'll try to make it more interesting and make things progress faster than usual. Thanks for the input.

Also, as to why people play the game, I plan to reveal that sooner or later.

uhh, everything have a soul and can evolve or not? because a tree would have a great advantage because they are a super evolved form of stick (I think)
