The novel is almost perfect. ALMOST, and unfortunately the not perfect part is the MC which is a huge part. I am at chapter 18, and the MC lacks brain function. He almost died once from eating beast meat, to much energy, makes sense. Second time he found a stronger beast and same thing AGAIN, almost died, he is not stupid he just lacks the brain capacity to think: weak best=strong energy, stronger best=stronger energy. If it was earth he would be the stupid kid that touches fire twice because it has different color and his brain could not make the connection. Chapter 17 he lets potential rapists and murders (his age) go free (hell he even protects them from death) obviously later on they push him into a life and death situation. The NEXT CHAPTER he kills someone so so he will get directions to a village (simplified of course, no spoilers). OP MC is ALWAYS <<<<< competent smart MC. I only bother writing the review because how disappointing it is, this could have been 4.6/5 easily with a slightly better MC, no need for perfect.

ErozothDraeor:To be clear, I do not recommend. At one point when a novel gets so annoying to read you are always angry seeing the plot holes and lack of logic its time to drop. The MC is only as smart as the author allows him (or as the author is).
I know my words won’t have any weight since I haven’t read a chapter yet. But it sounds to me like an innocent and ignorant **** gets sent to another world and gets himself hurt for his innocent and ignorant actions. I mean if magic existed how would you know magical beasts are poisonous to eat cause of their energy that your body isn’t ready or made for? And if you could beat a monster and was confident, why wouldn’t you try to stare death in the face to fight it and get taught a valuable lesson? And maybe he didn’t know those people were bad guys, I mean in a society where we treat criminals better than most citizens, why not save them? Why not try to make companions and see them survive? Sounds to me like a innocent MC who needs to learn about the dog eat dog world the hard way

Yes definitely, your words doesn't weight much. And clearly you haven't read it which made you ignorant. Well, a wise sage said that you should witness it before make a comment about it, but surely you're not. Meh, I just like to rant so I beg for forgiveness.

120 chapters later at the paywall I envy you for stopping while you were ahead :( . I wish character s with 10 chapters of background weren't discarded like trash. Story lines you enjoyed weren't left unfinished. I'm fine with developing parallel plot lines but there must be limits. Instead feels like a different story every 30 chapters.
