Review Detail of CriticalReader in The Birth of a Monster (The First Vampire I)

Worst attempt at writing character development... nothing but angst and drama... mc never changes... still naive, stupid,delusional and cowardly Mc is a pushover worse than light novel mcs... after being imprisoned, tortured, humiliated, betrayed, experimented on... his still the same... I'd like to know how ? Eventually I realized after 140 chapters... author is obsessed with writing an emo character(like arifureta mc)... he has no idea what he wants to be...whether a monster or a antihero There is no plot, just drama and slice of life. Imagine a character that is so unrealistic but author pretends that humans... don't get trauma and all you need is friends... really ? 140 chapters... i think I've given the novel a fair chance because of the potential of the premise... sadly all it takes is an mc who makes you wonder whether he is a masochist... to ruin any enjoyment in reading the novel My two cents... if you like mcs like shinji... you'll enjoy this otherwise... you might post your own rant soon after
