So many books, just so damn many have this same stupid plot: FL loves ML, ML ill-treats her BUT the FL is in the "So-Called" True Love with the ML(who treats her worse than anyone ever could), after some really "Heart Changing Realisation" that he loves her, he tells her that he loves her and the FL understands his super LAME reasons and actually FORGIVES him, after all he did to her. The FL's in these books literally have no backbone, no worthwhile character qualities, and think that being fragile and weak is a good idea. They will rather wait for the abuser to come to love them than actually do something for themselves. Truly, this book belongs to the middle ages, when this kind of woman was very much desired, not in the 21st century. Now, you have to be your own person, stand up for yourself and not be a "dasmel in distress".
