I've read this novel until the end although i skip some chapters and this novel is a true definition of crap. Well, i should not say this but after reading this novel, my view of the world turned upside down (in negative way). The characters of this novel is full venomous people. Almost all the female characters are bitches while the males are jerk. Their train of though are not logical and too wishy washy. Start from ML, his parents and supporting characters. This novel depicts a situation in which blood relationship doesn't mean much compared to personal ambition. I believe that a good novel does not need such complicated and dramatic story but this novel does and it reduces the value of this novel's story. Despite the good writing, the plot of this novel was too dramatic. Moreover, the story was repetitive to the point it was too boring to read. If you are a masochist, you can read this novel. Tbh, i force myself to read the novel till the end despite the fact that i really loath the story progression. I finished this novel only for the sake of review but still, i hope i would never read this novel. ML in this novel is truly a jerk, the most jerk among jerks from novels that i've ever read. Well, i thought ML from bumpy road was a true and absolute jerk but compared to the ML of this novel, he was just a 'common' jerk. I can say that he's the epitome of inhuman being after what he had done to the FL. The FL will faceslap the ML around chapter 540 when they fought for custody of the child because ML found the existence of the child while he was diagnosed infertile. The FL will still end up with ML. Tbh, i do not know what to feel. Usually, i feel happy when FL and ML end up being together but this novel doesn't bring me such satisfaction. The only thing that i appreciate from the writer is her writing style. Aside that, there's no other.

Thank you for the spoiler content. I read until chap 570 and whatever I guessed shouldn't be came true in the end. I dont want to continue read where FL ended up with ML. What happened to Gao Yi then? He treated her arm, saved her child and loved her. At beginning, FL developing some feelings towards him. They kissed. But the author made FL feelings conflicted afterwards and it seemed forcing her back to the same dark pit hole (ML) she survived from. Up till the point where FL suffered traumatically both mentally and physically, she shouldn't end up with ML because it wasn't practical in real life. It sounded like she reunited with her rapist (although married, she was forced) and the same person who broke her arm although he repented afterwards. In real life, the one who raised hand to hit his partner, do you think they won't repeat igain in lifetime or the trauma incited to woman will be gone whenever both partners got fight, only fear will be mounted right? Are males all saint after repented? She gave birth alone and all her suffers gone or forgotten as well? She should unite with second ML, I don't want to read forward as how author develop his character afterwards just for the sake to unite FL with ML. I despise and fell disgust when ML being written as a victim, being crippled and so pitiful and it sounded FL was forced to care for her abuser, probably in coming chaps. In this chap 570, they even made the child got hit while waiting for her mother. Who's fault? So far, when grandparents came visit, the child was fine. Why the ML need to bring her to car and suddenly the child running? Before this, she was obedient and waited for her mother to come. I can see the child character also getting changing by time. Ok, I drop the story here. However I like the author writing style which can incite our emotions while reading. Yes, too much drama too process.
What's the point of regretting when someone has already done so many horrible things. I don't even know why the FL should just forgave him! Does being the ML makes it okay for him to abuse and torture his FL and still get to be with her in the end? This is masochistic! And BS! Reading these kinds of stories had almost made me give up on love in the world!
