Are chinese women this masochistic? If you're raped and violated, and treated less than an animal, You still forgiving rapist. It's because you don't love yourself and is lesser than a mentally retarded dog. This novel is disgusting and mental retarded novel with masochistic women who enjoying violated or being treated as trash. I hope this kind of novel get banned. Seriously what's wrong of chinese author writing such a disgusting story, making mc forgiving rapist and abused, douchbag husband, and still love him despite him abused her physically and emotionally. I lost my respect for chinese author. Now I see them as mental retarded or garbage.

Jitiki:Please don't make a hasty generalization. If you look up some info regarding things that happen in the novel, you will realize that incidents similar to these things can happen. Maybe the author is trying to show people that they deserve better instead of a masochistic novel. :l

I actually don't get why that happened. That's the reason why I wrote "maybe the author tells people that they deserve better." It could be a story that's focused on bringing to light the issues concerning marriages and such one-sided love. If it's just written for views then it's another masochistic novel. If the FL goes trough all this and stays with the ML and forgives him, than the novel is trash. If there is anything at the end of such a road itâs that you deserve better and if he did not treat you right while he had you, then, that change was lost. He can regret as much as he wants. Novels should teach about rising above, growing up... not getting used to being abused. F this ****. I agree that this type of novel, where trash ML gets forgiven after being utter human garbage, get banned. Women had to suffer this fate when they had no rights and could not divorce and had to listen to everything a husband said like he was her master. You would think we evolved from that. So the FL is now out of the picture. It's not like the ML is forced to love the wrong one, he believed and being mislead that the girl he want to marry is the wrong one, even though, the time he spent with the wrong one is real. Their journey to the marriage is real. So please FL, take you bag and get out of this stupid book, you are out of the picture. Maybe, the ML will gradually love the FL before he realise that the girl he want to marry is FL. And when he knows the truth, then he will deeply regret it. But... His love for the wrong woman is real, just because he doesn't know the wrong woman snatched the amulet or something, it doesn't mean his journey with the wrong woman is fake. And yet when he discover that he get the wrong person he came to love the mc. For me this is what you call it UNFAITHFULL. It was like his love need a reaseon.

Yeah, i had read one reader's review, the reader had read for a couple hundreds chapters. And it's super ridiculous. Whenever I remember about this, I'll drive me crazy and mad, how the FL is being humiliate continuously, etc etc etc. The novel title about LOVE is a mislead. Maybe the LOVE will come when the story is near end. But before that, please feel free to enjoy the torture.

Wow. They must be tough reader. For me there always limits for angst or tragedy story. If there too much sad, humilation, or bad things, then for me it's not worth reading. For me it show you the author not had enough respect to their story characters. And seriously how can they said it romantic or sweet when the ML do nice things after he humilation the FL so bad.
