This is a great story. Awesome world building, great comedy, all around great read. But I cannot read anymore of this good novel, purely based on the fact that I absolutely hate it when a perfectly good non-humanoid mc, becomes humanoid. I liked the dungeon core vibes. Liked how he was building his dungeon island. Then he went and made a homunculus. That’s where I clock out. Sorry for the rant, but I really needed to get this off my chest. It bugs me every time I drop a great novel, but it’s just not something I can get over.

I understand the feeling, and I can explain. He didn't necessarily become the homunculus, think of it more as a puppet that he's manipulating instead of a new body. He could create multiple other bodies, and simultaneously control them at the same time if he wished (I personally don't like when the MC becomes humanoid either). Another way of looking at it is like this. Imagine that he's got the brain power to simultaneously control separate bodies of different types, and process all of the sensory information their experiencing all at the same time. Now, think of these outputs as secondary, while the primary vision/senses are still the dungeon core. Kind of like having multiple computer monitors at the same time, with the big monitor in the center being the primary dungeon core, while all other monitors are secondary body monitors. I'll also leave a paragraph comment on the humonculus part now explaining some things, as I hate monster MC's completely transforming to humanoid forms as well, and I don't want people like me to misunderstand what I was going for (Thanks for the review, I really appreciate it.).
