Review Detail of 90751052 in Gods & Demons Are Much Closer than You Think

Since I'm the first reviewer, I'll put a good note. From a little slice of life and comedy with fishies and snakes to some kind of mystery or suspense when the protagonist...no spoilers here. If you love a unique story with elements of fantasy and modern times, this is the book for you. ------ To the author: The slang and writing style is fine, but that's not the point. The grammar needs some work or just an editor. Honestly, rather than a fantasy, it feels like a magical realism due to its modern elements. But who knows, maybe it is a fantasy. It's too early to tell. Love the cover minus the cropped part on the top half (he's missing half a nose, hmm). The synopsis needs a bit of editing, try asking someone to help you with that. It has a good start and I'm looking forward to more. I actually did laugh at the funny parts btw. Keep it up Author! >3</
