I have a question for anyone that’s reading the recent chapters. I love the book however I stopped reading one the MC entered the army. I read reviews stating that the most the book has based on worldbuilding is just traveling to new land. What I want to know is does the MC continue to meet stronger ppl through the novel where he sees that where he was was like “a frog at the bottom of a well” that his world was just a rice grain compared to what’s really out there. I guess similar to xuanhuan. Please help answer!

I’m currently caught up on the novel and I’d say the short answer to your question is yes. Plus the arc that your at is where the larger world really starts to open up. Now, I haven’t read Xuanhuan but I’ll say this. Without giving to much away… Yes the MC does allot of Travel and there is WB but it goes to support the motivations of the characters and introduces you to the powers that be. This book is a BIG why are these things happening book combined with secrecy and nefarious plots. If that appeals to you then keep with it. It’s a great read!!!!
