Review Detail of Syclus in Supreme Magus

I'm not far into this novel, only 18 chapters in, and I don't know why this novel is so popular. This review will contain some things in the first 10 or so chapters, as I said I'm only on chapter 18. It won't take you long to get to where I am. First off, why does this novel have the #weaktostrong? MC literally gets strong enough to defend himself against an adult and a crossbow at the age of 4...4 years old!!! Then at the age of 5 he can go toe to toe with a so called mythical beast? Second, the MC is like 30 or 40 yet his thought process is anything but that. It felt like a kid trying to act like an adult. On top of that he acts like he's 30 in the form of a 4 year old, in front of other people! And everyone thinks that's normal for a 4 year old to be speaking with such proper grammer, intellect etc... Just because they claim him as a genius. Third, I don't feel a plot, I don't feel growth. It doesn't feel like MC is working at all to get his power. He learns how to use all these elements because it just happens to click in his head, he learns skills that the author hasn't told us about, he randomly stumbles upond an artifact that is CLEARLY very helpful yet he shrugs it off like it's no big deal... Only good thing I have to say about this novel is that the paragraph comments left by others is pretty funny.
