The world building in this novel is great with many D&D inspirations and it shows the domino effect where when a king from another continent killed all humans in that continent he was easily dealt with but his action caused a great havoc later down the story. But couple of things I don't like is the fact when our MC has a difficult time fighting someone with a better mana core he would have difficulty fighting which is normal but when it comes to him having the higher core he would still have difficulty which doesn't make a while lot of sense. Another bone I got to pick with the novel is that there is no "real mages" in this world everyone is a warrior mage or some variation of it the only exception being Manohar who fought like a real mage. Sure you could say the professors were mages too fought like apprentice mages in other novels it's disappointing to read that, you might also use the excuse that because their cores are weaker but just makes this disheartening to read. I get that the novel name is Supreme "Magus" but the magic part is constantly overshadowed by the martial art part. Sometimes I feel that I am just reading a very realistic version of a Cultivator novel instead of a magic and sword novel
