the mc and many other character inside the story are simply too shallow, to the point that i found it impossible to connect to them. moreover someone whose total age is over 30 and had been holding back emotion such as anger and hatred shouldnt be so emotional and babylike like the mc. the english was filled with numerous typo, even my 3 stars are only there because this is a chinese novel platform, which lowers my the standard of english fluency.

author deletes unwarranted useless "reviews" which boil down to sayin "i dont like this novel" without givin any reason to why, the OP above could have given a 1 star review and with his reasoning the review would have stayed since he actually gave a reason for his opinion and not just "i dont like it"

newest>page42>5 months old 2,5 star review, needed two minutes to locate it. Wont even point you to 4 star ones, cuz there is almost one at every page. author deletes bad reviews without argumentation, it is a little oversensitive to me, but acceptable.

Well, I've tested it now. I'm a long time reader of this story. But I've been kinda dissatisfied for a while now. So now I wrote a longish review and tried to explain what's missing imho. I hope author - san doesn't delete it because I spend some of my time and thoughts on it...

I wrote a decent review but author deleted because it was negative. It tells a lot about author and his book. He doesn't delete the spam reviews full of emotes and gibberish but takes down genuine reviews. Shameless author probably feels upset when people points out obvious plot holes in his silly story. Recently he introduced privileged using reason "to protect from privacy". Thats only delaying bots from stealing advanced chaps and not protecting anything. Using a stupid excuse to milk more money. ??

I didn't read it but i get this same feeling after reading 15 chaps. He said that he needed to get stronger so he can protect his mother and sisters but he didn't even name his father and not mention his brother.

Well he hates his brothers because of many reasons, stealing his food as a child, organizing people to gang and beat him up, it's seems pretty damn reasonable, if you ask me. His father really isn't in the story that much in the beginning, and he wants to protect his sister and mother because they were the only ones to take care of him. Though the father gets his moment later on in the book.

Well MC's brothers are just kids, they are not tempered yet. In turn it should be MC who must know his stance as someone psychologically older than his brothers. If somehow Author tries to make his brothers shi**y/evil characters just because of misgivings in early part of their life than its Authors fault. And if you're saying thats because of how the family situations are in that another world(famine or something), then what about MC and his 'original' brother? Do you think they've never fought. Its in human nature to fight for little thing they value more in their early part of their life(childhood) and even in *****hood too. In my opinion its a force negativity not a natural one. BUT ITS STRICTLY BASED ON MY 15 CHAPTERS THAT I'VE READ.

I am just asking does that Orpal learned to be a di*k head from his parents or his surroundings or....is Author forcefully trying to make him a d*ck?....Its not that i hate negative characters or anything afterall i binge read Reverend Insanity/Doist gu because atleast i didn't find any forcefull negativity here but its MC's past and future experiences tells us so. But is it also true in this novel ?

Some people are just dicks, and he got like that first because he was starving as their family was poor and he thought a baby won't need it as much as he did since he was the first born and had to work, Then as Lith grew and started to provide for the family, Orpal got jealous and angry. Jealous because Lith was getting all the praise and attention from everyone else in the household, and angry because Lith somehow made it so they got smaller portions than the rest of the family as payback for nearly making him starve to death. As Lith puts it, "I'm do with dealing with dysfunctional family members, been there, done that". Or something along those lines.

Yes, i agree. Maybe i am just forcing my biased opinion of how kids actually act. I have a little cousin who i beat every now and then and guess what? he always forget just after 2 hours. The point is kids usually don't hold grudges for a long time. Or maybe my little cousin is just an idiot? đ§.

Am i messed up? I certainly am. I was just trying to prove a point there that kids do not hold grudges but yeah a little bit fear is there. And do you really i would beat a 5 year old kid with my 21 year old strength, hell no. The most i could do is reprimand the guy and work on his ear in front of his parents. Its a little complicated to explain but his parents probably using me instill a little bit fear of me onto the kid because the kid cuss(don't ask me this, its just another family problem đ ) and other bratty problems. Well i am already off topic there, Grudge is not easily garnered emotion for a kid. Yeah they fight cause of Anger too but bearing a grudge thats a far fetchedBut yeah i could understand the novel's situation too and real life situations are unpredictable too. But did you really think i was a bully or a killer perhaps? Hahahaha.
