Review Detail of ShiroNii in The Rise of Xueyue

I would've love to read this if not for it being a Historical-Romance. I think they're just not for me. Of all the Historical-Romance I've read, whether manhua, manhwa, or novel (this is the only histroical-romance novel I've read tho) stories, I only got to finish reading one story. And I think that is the only historical-romance story that'll ever be in my reading list. Historical-romance is the same no matter how different the author's writing style is. I still can't take the treacherous people. The twists are just not for me... it's suffocating me more than those novels that keep giving frustrating plots. I realized today what I really don't like the most in historical-romance stories... that is the indecisive way the FL gets in the first part of the story, The FL meets a guy, they form some sort of connection but then they're actually not gonna work out. But even if I know now how the ML of this story is, I just can't continue reading this anymore. The hurt it gives me when ship that just don't work out in this kind of stories combined the people's treachery left and right... just makes me stop reading every historical-romance story I've read...and now this one, I think I am dropping it or maybe read it some other time when I get the feel to read this kind of story... idk but ye just not now. I just want to stop it. I'm still heartbroken for Wen Jinkai </3 I'm still to attached to this character's ship to FL to the point that I don't think I will be able to enjoy reading this rn... But, ye this is just me being prejudiced with historical-romance, if this kind of plot is your cup of tea, you will appreciate this novel very much I can honestly give 5 stars to the author's Writing Quality; Stability of Updates, of course because the story is completed already; Story Development, being not too fast nor too slow but just my cup of tea; Character Design, I mean the FL's family is really great and it's not the completely clique character design in every historical-romance story I've read Just except World Background, because historical-romance is just not for me xd but if you like this kind of world background this novel is treasure to you ~
