I didn't understand the story. Had a lot of unnecessary flashbacks which turned the story topsy turvy. Didn't know what was the beginning and the middle. Sorry dropped it. Didn't make sense to me.

This novel is very interesting.. Based on the photo and the synopsis I thought that it was a novel which involves emperor's and concubines but was surprised that it was a modern one.
