So far (up until chapter 10), I enjoyed reading your descriptive and emotional words. I know reading to this point doesn't give me the whole novel, but everything seems like a 5 star and I have a feeling it'll continue to be a steady 5 or better. I won't rate based on how I think of you as a person because that might be a 10/5. I'm not sure if reading up to chapter 10 is enough to give a review, so I'm not reviewing what I think is the whole novel. Instead, I'll only rate the novel off of first impressions. The writing blew my mind because it's just so...comfy to read. Not too simple, not too difficult and I don't think there were any mistakes. If the first chapters have been edited, it was done well. The characters are easily distinguishable. I'm not great with names, but I do want to continue reading so I made a cheat sheet. I hope that doesn't sound insulting. I also see research has gone into the book. As I'm not familiar with Japanese phrases or terms (I only knew -san and -kun?), I learned a lot by reading. Very good stuff. Lastly, the cover. I always forget to comment on covers despite analyzing them as soon as I start reading. The cover is lovely and attractive. I just...love it. Oh, I'm a bit teary. Thank you for writing this beautiful novel and I hope to get far soon.

LIKEOh, wow. My first review in a year. A cheat sheet is cool! That's awesome. Thank you very much for your impressions so far. I feel giddy and glad the story ticked some boxes. I've never done a historical fiction before, so this story is really taking me out of my comfort zone. Thank you on the cover. I've designed and tested a few, but the cat wins. 😁🧡
Oh, I'm honoured to be the first one in a year. Well, I read so slowly and I thought it would take forever to reach the latest chapters, so I thought of giving a review early to give support. I'm not sure if it was needed. I haven't tried writing historical fiction but I do know it can be difficult with research and fact-checking. You're doing well with that. It's great that it's not in your comfort zone. Hehe you're very good with Photoshop(?) :D
