The author's writing style is really beautiful and full of imagery. The grammar is absolutely great with a wide vocabulary. There are even several references to Japanese culture and events. You can tell that the author did her research! As the story is historical fiction, it progresses slower than most of the stories I've read on Webnovel so far. Instead, the author intricately weaves the world and characters into a wonderful story as it slowly unfolds for the reader. The actions and emotions of the characters are fairly well-written.
